Sack Trucks

Sack trucks for moving bagged goods, boxes, and other loads on site. The range includes folding aluminium models that fit in a van, full-size steel frames for heavy daily use, and stair climbers with tri-wheel assemblies. Capacity runs from 70 kg to 300 kg. Choose pneumatic tyres for rough ground or solid for puncture resistance.

Match the capacity to your typical load — a 150 kg rated truck may move a 100 kg bag comfortably, but stacking two bags puts you past safe limits. Aluminium folding models suit trades that need compact storage; steel frames hold up better under daily warehouse work. Pneumatic tyres roll easier over broken tarmac and gravel, but they puncture and need inflation. Solid tyres run flat, heavier on smooth concrete but maintenance-free.

Stair climbers use a tri-wheel arrangement that pivots up steps without lifting the full weight. They work for short flights but slow you down on flat runs — not a substitute for a standard truck if most of your work is on the level.

Toe plate size matters. A shallow plate (200 mm) tucks under pallets and tight stacks; a deep plate (300 mm+) supports wider loads without tipping. Check the frame height if you're moving anything taller than feed bags — a short back lets the load lean out.

Sealey trucks come with tubular or box-section frames. Box section adds stiffness for the same weight. Welded joints beat bolted for long-term durability, especially if you're dragging the truck over kerbs.
