Sockets Individual

Individual sockets let you replace a worn size or add one odd dimension without buying a full set. These are Premier 3/8" square-drive sockets in both standard and deep profiles, covering metric sizes from the teens to mid-twenties. Fully polished chrome vanadium steel. Pick standard depth for clearance, deep when you need to get over a long thread or stud.

Chrome vanadium takes repeated impact better than cheaper alloy. The full polish makes cleaning easier after a day in oil or road salt.

Match the depth to the fastener. Standard sockets sit lower in tight spots — under bonnet lips, behind pulleys, anywhere swing clearance matters. Deep sockets run longer, so they clear protruding thread and capture the nut without wobbling. If the fastener sits flush and you've got room, standard is lighter and faster to position.

3/8" drive sits between 1/4" and 1/2". It covers most automotive suspension work, general machinery assembly, and agricultural equipment where 1/2" is too bulky but 1/4" risks shearing. Check your ratchet or breaker bar square fits 3/8" before ordering.

Six-point sockets grip flats; twelve-point needs less swing arc but contact the corners, so they'll round a corroded nut faster under load. These Premier sockets are six-point. If you're working rusted fasteners, wire-brush the hex before fitting the socket and use a straight pull — side load accelerates rounding.
