Tarpaulins

Tarpaulins for covering materials, equipment, or ground on site. The range includes sheet sizes from 1.73 × 2.31 m up to 6.10 × 12.19 m. Green or blue finish. Sealey tarps come with reinforced eyelets at regular intervals for tie-down; pair them with tarpaulin clips if you need extra fixing points between eyelets or on torn edges.

Polyethylene tarpaulins are woven, laminated, and UV-stabilised. They shed water and resist tearing better than untreated plastic sheet, but they still puncture if dragged over sharp edges or left flapping in wind. Check the eyelet spacing on larger sheets—it dictates how many tie-points you'll have without adding clips.

Match the size to the job with some overlap. A 4.88 × 6.10 m tarp covers a pallet and folds under; a 6.10 × 12.19 m sheet handles a trailer load or a section of roof. Smaller tarps (1.73 × 2.31 m, 2.44 × 3.05 m) work for covering kit or groundsheets under mixers. Fold surplus material and secure it—loose fabric catches wind and pulls fixings out.

Tarpaulin clips grip the sheet between two plastic jaws without needing an eyelet. Use them to add anchor points mid-span, to rescue a torn edge, or to close a gap between two tarps. Each pack contains four clips.
