Kitchen

Kitchen appliances — fridges, freezers, ovens, and cooker hoods — for domestic installations. Baridi units cover the typical residential range: compact wine and drinks chillers, chest freezers from 99 to 199 litres, 60 cm built-in ovens, and extraction hoods in 60 or 90 cm widths. If you're fitting out a new kitchen or replacing a failed appliance, check the cavity dimensions and electrical supply before you order.

Choosing the right appliance

Chest freezers differ in volume and footprint — a 99-litre unit fits tighter spaces, 199 litres suits bulk storage or larger households. All three run on standard 230 V mains; measure the floor space and allow clearance for the lid to open fully.

Built-in ovens slot into a standard 60 cm cabinet. Fan-assisted models circulate heat for even cooking; check the oven's stated capacity (usually around 55 litres) against the tray sizes you use. The black or black-with-stainless trim is cosmetic — pick whichever matches your fascia.

Cooker hoods extract steam and grease. Match the hood width to your hob (60 cm or 90 cm). Ducted installation vents outside; recirculating mode uses carbon filters, which need replacing every few months depending on use. Curved-glass hoods include LED task lighting; flat hoods are simpler and fit flush under low cabinets.

Wine and drinks fridges hold bottles or cans at cellar or serving temperature. The 28-bottle wine cooler runs quieter than a compressor fridge but has a narrower temperature range. The 50-litre drinks fridge is a compressor unit — louder, colder, better for beer. Neither is designed for long-term bulk storage.
