Rigid scrapers work for stubborn gasket residue on cast iron or steel where you need leverage behind the blade. Premier's scrapers come in 40mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm widths — match the size to the job. Narrow blades fit between bolt holes on a cylinder head; wide ones clear large flat surfaces faster. Check the blade thickness if you're working near machined faces that can't take a gouge.

Picks and hooks pull O-rings out of grooves, retrieve snap rings, scrape carbon from piston ring lands, and lift wire clips without mangling them. The Siegen extra-long set reaches into deep bores and gearbox housings. Angled, straight, and hooked tips handle different access angles — a 90-degree hook gets under a seal lip, a straight pick clears a port. Comfort-grip handles reduce hand fatigue when you're scraping for hours, and a hammer cap on the handle lets you tap the scraper through thick gasket layers without splitting the grip.

Razor scrapers use replaceable blades for glass, painted surfaces, or any job where a dull edge will tear rather than lift. The Siegen razor scraper takes standard blades, so you swap in a fresh edge when the old one dulls. For trim removal, the skirting and trim puller levers panels and skirting boards off walls without splintering the wood or denting the plaster behind.
