Match the bar to the task. Straight double-end bars fit into narrow slots and behind trim; angled bars give you leverage in shallow gaps where a straight tool would slip. Head shape matters: flat chisel ends spread load on painted panels, pointed ends get under nails or into rusted joints. Heel bars have a right-angle claw at one end for nail pulling and a flat prying end at the other.
