Vehicle Covers
Vehicle covers for cars, vans, and equipment stored outdoors or in unheated sheds. Fitted covers protect paintwork from UV, dust, and moisture; shelters give weather protection for tractors, machinery, or multiple vehicles when a hard structure isn't an option.

Fitted car covers come sized—measure bumper to bumper, roof to ground, and width at the mirrors before ordering. Three-layer covers (polyester outer, waterproof membrane, soft inner) handle Irish weather better than single-skin nylon; the soft lining matters if you're covering decent paintwork. Covers stretch slightly with use, so a snug initial fit is fine. Elasticated hems and tie-down straps keep the cover in place when it's windy—loose fabric flaps and rubs, which defeats the purpose.
Portable shelters suit gear that's too large or awkward to cover with fabric: tractors, plant machinery, builders' vans. The dome-roof sheds water better than a flat canopy; pooling on a flat top will stretch or collapse the frame in heavy rain. Anchoring matters—use ground stakes on soft ground, weighted feet on concrete. Fabric wears first at stress points and where it touches sharp edges, so check trailer corners and exhaust stacks before you park underneath. If you're sheltering welders, compressors, or anything that throws sparks, keep a gap between the equipment and the cover; most of these fabrics aren't fire-rated.
