Cigarette & Litter Bins

Cigarette and litter bins for workshops, depots, and outdoor yards where you need designated disposal points that don't tip over or fill with rainwater. Available in free-standing and wall-mounting formats, with dedicated ashtrays for butts and separate compartments for general waste. Stainless steel models hold up in weather; powder-coated steel works fine indoors or under cover.

Free-standing units suit entrances and loading bays where you can't drill into the wall. Wall-mounting bins save floor space and keep the disposal point at a fixed height — useful in narrow doorways or beside roller shutters. Check the ashtray aperture: a sand-filled top smothers butts on contact; a slotted lid works but needs regular emptying to avoid smouldering.

Capacity matters if the bin serves multiple smokers on shift breaks. An 8-litre bin fills quickly on a busy site; larger models reduce emptying frequency but take up more room. Stainless steel resists corrosion from ash and damp; powder-coated mild steel is lighter and cheaper but will rust through if the coating chips and moisture gets in. If the bin lives outside year-round, stainless is the straightforward choice.

Look for a removable inner bucket or liner — it turns a two-minute scrape-out into a ten-second lift-and-tip. Lids keep rain out and reduce windblown litter. Some models combine a small ashtray on top with a larger bin below for cans and wrappers; that setup works well where you're managing both in one spot.
