Fluid Transfer

Fluid transfer pumps for diesel, AdBlue, solvent, thinners, and general workshop fluids. This range covers gravity kits, electric drum pumps, and portable transfer units suited to 25-litre drums through to 205-litre barrels. Match pump voltage to your supply — 12V and 24V models draw from vehicle batteries, 230V units run off mains. Filter spares and drum adaptors are listed separately.

Electric pumps shift fluid faster than gravity — useful when you're decanting diesel into machines or topping AdBlue tanks on trucks. The 12V and 24V high-volume pumps suit mobile work; crocodile clips straight onto a battery. The 230V AdBlue pump stays put in the workshop. Gravity kits have no moving parts and work anywhere, but flow rate depends on drum height and fluid viscosity.

Solvents and thinners eat standard seals. The dedicated thinners pump for 25L drums uses solvent-resistant materials; using a diesel pump for thinners voids any durability expectation. Drum closure adaptors let you fit a pump to a sealed barrel without removing the bung completely — cuts spill risk and keeps contaminant out. Filters trap swarf and sediment; the coarser the work, the more often you'll swap them. Replacement filters for the TPF01 are stocked separately — check the part number matches before ordering.

Flow rate matters more than you'd think. A high-volume pump moves 40–60 litres a minute; a standard transfer pump does 15–25. If you're filling a 200-litre tank weekly, the difference is ten minutes versus half an hour. Hose length and diameter also throttle flow — a narrow bore or a long run adds friction. Most pumps come with a metre or two of hose; if you need more reach, match the bore size when you extend it.
