Match the size to the component you're pulling — a 75 mm puller fits inside tight engine casings and hub assemblies, while a 200 mm unit reaches outer bearing races on larger wheels or transmission housings. Reversible jaws let you switch between internal and external pulls without swapping tools. Check the thread pitch on the forcing screw if you're working with metric and imperial frames in the same day.

Bearing separators and slide hammer sets work together. The separator clamps behind the inner race, the slide hammer delivers the shock load that breaks the press fit. Clamp diameter matters — the 75–105 mm separator suits most motorcycle wheel bearings and headset cups, the 105–150 mm unit covers car hubs and larger industrial shafts. Tighten the separator evenly so it doesn't cock and mark the shaft.

The anemometer reads wind speed and converts to Beaufort scale, useful for spray booth ventilation checks or confirming your extractor fan is actually shifting air. Battery-powered, handheld, reads in m/s or mph depending on the unit. Not a daily tool, but when you need an airflow number it saves guessing.
