MIG Accessories

MIG accessories cover the consumables and ancillaries you need to keep a MIG setup running: contact tips, gas regulators, flux-cored wire for gasless work, and welding tables. Tips wear out fast on higher-amperage runs, regulators control gas flow to match your joint prep and travel speed, and a proper table gives you flat reference and clamp points. Stock the right tip size for your wire diameter, and check regulator fitment—disposable cylinder regs don't fit industrial bottles.

Contact tips are sized to wire diameter—1mm tips for 1mm wire. MB14, MB25, and MB36 refer to torch models; confirm which neck your torch uses before ordering. Tips erode from arc heat and spatter buildup, so keep spares on hand if you're mid-job.

Gas regulators thread onto argon/CO₂ cylinders. Industrial bottles use a different valve thread than disposable cans—one-gauge, two-gauge, and no-gauge variants all serve the same purpose, but two-gauge models show cylinder pressure and delivery pressure separately, which helps you spot a near-empty bottle before it runs out mid-bead. Single-gauge regs show delivery only; no-gauge types are basic on/off flow control. Match the regulator to your cylinder type or you'll strip threads.

Gasless flux-cored wire (A5.20 Class E71T-GS) runs without shielding gas—the flux burns to create a slag shield. It spatters more than gas-shielded solid wire and the bead needs chipping, but it works outdoors in light wind where gas would blow away. Common in 0.9mm diameter; buy by spool weight depending on how much you're laying down.

Sealey welding tables come in steel with grid or slot patterns for clamping jigs and holding work square. A flat table makes setup faster and keeps distortion in check on multi-pass work.
