Wall-mount floodlights come with either a fixed bracket or a PIR sensor. The sensor versions switch on automatically when movement is detected — useful for security lighting or hands-free operation when you approach a loading bay or gate. Fixed-bracket versions stay on while powered, better for constant illumination over a work area or entrance. Both types use slim die-cast housings with toughened glass and IP65 seals against dust and hose spray.

Wattage determines throw and spread. A 20W unit lights a small yard or doorway, 50W covers a wider apron or driveway, 100W handles larger yards or high-mounting positions where you need reach. SMD chips give broad even light; they don't focus into a narrow beam, so mounting height and angle matter more than the fixture's rated lumen figure.

Rechargeable models use COB LED panels and run off internal lithium cells. The pocket units fold or clip onto a belt, the larger portables have carry handles and kickstands. Magnetic bases let you stick the light to a steel panel, machine guard, or van door. Power-bank versions include USB-A sockets so you can charge a phone or drill battery in the field. Run time depends on brightness setting — most offer high, low, and sometimes strobe modes. Keep a charged spare battery or a 12V adapter in the van if you're working long shifts.
