Lighting Brackets

Lighting brackets for trailers, towing equipment, and mobile setups. Mount rear lights, number plates, or marker lamps where welded tabs aren't an option or when you need adjustability. Sealey brackets here cover universal fitments — bolt-on designs that suit most trailers and tow bars, with slots or holes for standard light clusters and registration plates.

Most universal brackets use a bar-and-clamp design or bolt through existing holes on the trailer frame or bumper. Check the mounting width and hole spacing before ordering — older trailers often use narrower centres than modern EU-spec light clusters. Brackets with a crossbar for the number plate simplify wiring runs and keep everything on one rigid mount, which cuts vibration and keeps the plate legible at night.

Steel brackets will rust if the paint chips, especially near salt or wet storage. Galvanised or powder-coated finishes last longer, but any bracket bolted to bare steel should get a smear of grease or primer between surfaces to slow corrosion. Fit rubber washers under the lights themselves — metal-on-metal contact will crack the lens after a few rough lanes.

If you're mounting aftermarket LED units, confirm the bracket's bolt spacing matches the new lights. LED clusters often differ from old filament units by a few millimetres, and forcing the fit will crack the lens or strip threads. When in doubt, measure the light's fixing holes before buying the bracket.
