Quad/Mini Tractor Lifts
Quad and mini-tractor lifts are hydraulic or mechanical platforms designed to raise small ride-on mowers, quads, UTVs, and compact tractors off the ground for underneath access. Most models use a foot-operated pump and a wide, stable deck to keep the machine level while you work on blades, belts, axles, or undercarriage components. Typical lift capacities run from 340kg to 500kg — check your machine's kerb weight before choosing a model.

A hydraulic lift saves time and back strain when servicing machines that are too low to crawl under and too heavy to tilt safely. The main decision is load capacity: a 340kg lift handles most lawn tractors and smaller quads; heavier ATVs and compact utility tractors need 400kg or more. Check the platform dimensions as well — longer wheelbases require a deeper deck to keep both axles on the pad.
Most lifts use a foot pedal for raising and a hand-release valve for lowering. Look for a locking bar or safety catch that holds the platform at height if hydraulic pressure drops — essential if you're working underneath for any length of time. Some units include tie-down points or wheel chocks; if yours doesn't, plan to use straps or blocks to stop the machine rolling once it's lifted.
Sealey's hydraulic mower lifts use a single-piston cylinder with a wide footprint for stability. Store the lift on a flat surface and bleed air from the hydraulic system if the platform stops rising to full height. Overloading shortens seal life and risks collapse — if your machine sits close to the rated limit, size up.
