Threadlockers prevent fasteners working loose under vibration. Low-strength formulas suit grub screws and adjusters you may need to break later with hand tools. Medium strength holds most bolts and nuts without heat to disassemble. High-strength stud lock needs heat to remove and works for permanent fixings or high-load applications. Clean threads with solvent before applying — oil and dirt stop the anaerobic cure.

Cyanoacrylate superglue bonds quickly on clean, close-fitting surfaces. The 5g tube suits occasional use; multi-packs make sense if you work through them regularly. Clamp or hold parts for the first few seconds while the bond sets. It works well on rubbers, most plastics, and metals, but struggles with polyethylene, polypropylene, and PTFE.

Exhaust assembly paste seals joints in exhaust systems and manifolds. It stays soft enough to allow thermal expansion and contraction, fills small gaps where flanges don't mate perfectly, and resists the heat and corrosive gases. Apply a thin coat to both faces before tightening — too much just squeezes out.

Spray adhesive gives a repositionable or permanent tack depending on how you apply it. One light coat lets you adjust placement; a heavier coat on both surfaces bonds on contact. Useful for mounting gaskets, attaching templates, or bonding foam and fabric in trim work.
